The malware was discovered by Xuxian Jiang, an assistant professor at the NC State University, and his team. As we have already witnessed before, the malicious code is "grafted" onto legitimate applications, and once the app is installed, it works as a background service whose goals is to gather information and transmit it to a remote server.
The server takes the information in consideration and returns a URL from which the malware downloads a .jar file that, once loaded, exploits Dalvik class loading capability to stay hidden by evading static analysis.
According to them, Plankton - as they named the malware - and the payloads it downloads do not provide root exploits. "Instead, they only support a number of basic bot-related commands that can be remotely invoked," they say.
Among those commands are those that collect browser history, bookmark and log information, those that allow the installation and deinstallation of shortcuts, and more.
"During our investigation, we also identified an interesting function that if invoked can be used to collect user's accounts," they say. "Though our analysis shows that this function is not linked to any supported command, its presence as well as the capability of dynamically loading a new payload can easily turn stealing user's accounts or even launching root exploits into reality."

I Really Appreciate this great work you doing about the JellyBlast v3 with OTA updates and some bug fixes in it.. well i would like to ask you when are you gonna improve the bug fixes of the YouTube Application? I get the option of updating all the Google apps Besides youtube app trough playstore.. If there is no new update for youtube app then how do i get Google Play Services? hope you can try fixing this issue :)

1. Is it like flashing a new ROM? or just like that I can flash as an add-on? 2. Should I backp all my apps and backup Nandroid???
very buggy nemesis launcher...you need to work on the stability of the launcher. The widget section is a good touch..however remove the square grid behind the widgets, it will make the launcher look nice...dock themes are good and i loves the sense interface. phone app force closes. Setting app force closes.
Take your time to release the ROM. Jellyblast was great. Take the time to make sure this is awesome.

in recovery mode just clear data & cache and flash this rom :-) but first u need to be on stock rom to flash this rom or any custom rom... if u r stuckk first flash ur mobile to stock rom via odin then go for this rom :-)

I have succesfully download Jelly Blast onto my Samsung Galaxy Y. The only problem I have is that whenever I try to set a wallpaper for my lock screen from my gallery (Settings>Display>Screen display>Lock screen wallpaper>Gallery), an error box appears and I have to force close it. Is this fixable?
O Ivan, meu jellyblast ta perdendo sinal toda hora. Sei que a Vivo é horrível, mas não é ela que tá com problema e sim meu phone. Isso passou a acontecer depois que flashei a Nemesis.

Flashed my Galaxy Pocket (S5300) with Jellyblast V3, and it worked beautifully. The only thing was that the Youtube app wouldn't get updated from Play Store due to a signature issue. However, i gave it to a friend yesterday, who downloaded the Holo Edition 4.2 OTA update, and now the phone keeps rebooting after reaching the Nemesis 2.5 Hybrid Holo Edition splash screen.
How do i recover to either the Jellyblast V3, or to my Gingerbread stock ROM? Booting the phone into recovery mode reapplies the Holo Edition ROM. Thanks in advance.
My OTA updater says that my ROM is of Version 3.0.0 .. whenever I update it takes me to OTA 6 .. does this mean that all five OTAs were pre-installed on my phone and how would I know that my phone is on which OTA?

try stock recovery wipe data and cache.reboot,,if doesnt re program with odin.or the easiest way go to nearest service center..they know what to do
